Careers In Transition, Inc. is not a placement firm, but rather an HR Consulting Firm with 10 years of progressive growth. A recent promotion of our Office Manager has created this opening.
Our Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a five person training and development firm with 30 Independent Consultants who service Federal clients across the United States.

Must be an expert at managing our accounting system in QuickBooks (Reconcile, P & L, AP/AR, etc.)
Knowledgeable in implementing job costing practices based on cost accounting standards.
Desire to provide administrative support to the CEO, and exercise considerable judgment. Must be able to work with a hard driving executive and various personalities.
Must be very task and detail oriented in completing and submitting a variety of federal certification renewal applications, maintain insurance policies, etc.
The candidate must have acquired business acumen to serve as the CEO's right hand and contribute to our success.
Qualifications:
Most recent job must require and involve QuickBooks experience. Must have QuickBooks experience beyond reconciling accounts.
Must have an assertive, but pleasant attitude.
Can execute tasks with limited direction.
Must be able to edit, proofread and write correspondance.
Capable of creating systems or processes to make the office and business affairs more efficient and effective.
Manage calendars by establishing a systematic approach for oneself and others to track time commitments and the completion of tasks.
Schedule appointments, confirm changes or delays, and make necessary changes to meet business demands and time constraints; ensures executive fulfills business meeting obligations.
Meet and exceed the company’s unwavering exceptional level of professionalism, integrity, customer service, and quality in products and services.
Ensure operation of equipment; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs, meeting with salespersons/various vendors; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
